Croton Dam and River, five days later

Late Saturday morning I went back to look at the situation - five days after I'd taken these pictures -

The water flow is still very high, but much lower and calmer then it was this past Monday. Here's the dam and river pictures from the small bridge in front of the dam. Compare with Monday!

Here's the view further downstream. The white car (VW golf?) has been moved - no longer has water up to it's windows - and I would guess the water level has dropped four to five feet.
