I caught the end of the Yankee game today. Didn't see the Old Timer's fesitivities (but may tape it later today on YES network repeat).
The Yanks won the real game, 6-4 over the Colorado Rockies, after trailing 0-3. The cool thing about the game, was seeing the 41 year old Mariano Rivera strike out the side in the ninth inning to get the save. He struck out the first batter, Wigginton, who had hit two homers in the game, with a 94 mile per hour cutter. Unhuman. It's just not fair. ...
Here's the third strike for the last out - a 92 mph cutter.
