Dismal projections from the Congressional Budget Office (CBO)

And I think this is baked in the cake, no matter who wins the political races ...

Alarming news came from the Congressional Budget Office today: the economy is on track to grow by only 1.1 percent next year, with unemployment climbing to 9.2 percent.

At a press conference today, CBO Director Doug Elmendorf stressed that the projections are purely based on current law, and are therefore not the same thing as forecasts.
