Tim having fun with his track and field

We're quite glad that Tim decided to join the track team for the HS outdoor season. He's doing well, throwing the discus, shotput, javelin and also has run in a 4 x 100 relay.

So far it's early in the season - only been two meets, plus a dual meet with Hackley. Next meet is at Iona early Monday (I won't be there - too bad!).

Here's his third shot - put on Tuesday in the Hackley meet. Last Saturday he had a 32 foot throw in a large meet in New Rochelle. The shotput weight for freshman is 8 pounds, but Tim has been competing at the higher level with a 12 pound shotput.
