I think this is very interesting. Delivery will be in the the fall, after Windows 8 is released. My techie son Joe says Windows 8 was clearly designed for tablet functionality.
Hit the link for some pictures. And you will see a very interesting keyboard design - it's the cover of the tablet, laid out while the tablet sits on it's "kickstand."
The Surface tablet runs a variation of Windows 8, a version of Microsoft’s flagship operating system that is due out in the fall. Steven A. Ballmer, Microsoft’s chief executive, said the product was part of a longstanding tradition at Microsoft to create hardware, like computer mice, that show off innovations in its software.
“We want to give Windows 8 its own companion hardware innovations,” Mr. Ballmer said.
Microsoft executives, however, were largely mum on how Surface would affect the company’s relationships with PC makers, the hardware companies that are the vehicles for sales of Windows software. With its new tablet, Microsoft will effectively be competing directly with its biggest customers.
Really? this news somehow is good to hear, why? because us consumers should always have a good option wen it comes to product. It is better to have another choice not just only one. And I think Microsoft is always good in this field.

There is a new company launching on November 5th called domeoproducts.com. They are a company that makes iPad and iPad mini cases. I have seen a couple of pictures of them online, and they look awesome, but I was wondering what you guys thought about them? I need a new iPad case, and I was thinking about getting one of them. Thanks!
