the medicare advantage program is an advantage to government- no body else. my mom was told she did not have medicare any more. she was on the advantage program. better check- this program should not be able to use the name medicare -the eye md just called one day and said he would not care for her any more. we found out when she went to the hospital that she was not on medicare and the specialty hospital discovered they were not going to be paid, so they managed to change her back to regular medicare. beware beware----the advantage to medicare advantage is only to get rid of the seniors of this USA.
