Health Update

I got my bloodwork (CBC) results from last Friday today. White blood count was down to 1.5. that's from 3.1 last week and well below normal.

So I suppose the neulasta shot (the white blood cell booster) which I got on November 22nd has worn off.

I go for another CBC tomorrow, and will probably have the results next Tuesday. Then next Friday I will see the hematologist Dr. Klimek. I expect she'll give me another neulasta shot and keep having my counts checked every Friday.

So disappointing, but not surprising. I suppose I should be pleased that my bone marrow does respond nicely to the neulasta when I get the shot.
