I haven't seen the results of my CBC from the past Friday - MSK will fax me the results tomorrow,
In the meantime I am back on the antibiotic Levaquin for my sinus issue, and as a bonus I got what I'm sure was a viral infection that manifested itself last night - achy, intermittently too hot, then chills, the usual stuff. Luckily the worst of it was over by this morning, as I had to go to New Jersey on business. Tonight I do feel a bit washed out.
If your taking levaquin then I would suggest you log unto either the quinolone forum hosted by yahoo or fqresearch.org
This class of drugs have severe and permanent adverse reactions associated with their use including spontaneous tendon rupture and irreversable peripherial neuropathy. They are to be considered drugs of last resort and certainly not a first line agent.
Literally thousands of people have been crippled for life after one dose of these drugs. With levaquin being the worse by far. Just giving you a heads up in an effort to avoid your having to endure a lifetime of misery as these side effects do not go away after you quit taking the drug.
