The news on the wrong way driver who killed eight: drunk and stoned

Terrible.

She was driving erratically all the way from the Catskills. Her husband had left in another car with the family dog, leaving her with the children.

We were caught up in the traffic jam south of the accident on that Sunday, as we were returning from my cousin's wedding in Massachusetts.
