Joe and I are driving up to Rochester Institute of Technology later today, as he starts his five year co-op electrical engineering program. We are actually stopping in Cortland tonight and will get to the campus Wednesday morning.
Joe will rightly be delighted to be on his own at college, but his mom and dad will miss him very much. To be honest I am feeling quite sad.
Here's a picture of the four of us after his graduation from Fordham Prep, way back at the end of May.
Sad is normal...all part of letting go a little at a time...I remember it well.
He will do great and so will you!
Safe trip

For every time there is a purpose...God bless you, Joe. Enjoy the change of season.

Good luck Joe - enjoy it all as it will be over before you know it. Lots of love from us all in York, Milton Keynes and Manchester. Also from Susie Conrad in London (she took you to meet your friend in June 2008). God bless Libby et al!!

Tommy boy, i do feel your pain. All the best to Joe. Those boys of yours have certainly grown up! Dev gets out of the Army in Nov. and he's going back to college in January. Finally... anyway, blessing aplenty on you all. t
