Found this site Fitocracy through a youtuber - a bodybuilder whose workout info is useful - and just signed up (it's free). His vid on fitocracy is here (CAUTION: Like many bodybuilders he can be a little over the top.).
He's also the source for a phone app I've been using that has been really helpful - My Fitness Pal. I've been logging my fitness pal on my phone for 85 days straight (I just checked) and it has really helped me lose 9 lbs. Aiming to lose another 8. Here's Campbell's vid about it. My Fitness Pal is easy to use and will give you as much or as little info as you wish (they have over 2 million foods in their data base, and you can look up and add your own).
I don't do all the "macros". Basically just track my calories, aiming to consume 1210 a day, plus any calories I may burn in the gym. So if I figure I've burned 400 cals, then I'm only aiming for eating 1610 that day. I'm usually over my goal by 200-300, but yesterday was a particualrly bad day, over by 542. I had to cut back my gym time yesterday, to get some stuff done with Tim.
Anyway, My Fitness Pal is helpful and we'll see about Fitocracy.
