John McCain on the Senate Committee torture report

Here's what I posted yesterday - CIA torture report - and they lied about it.

And here's what Senator McCain said -

I agree with everything McCain said - except - that it was good to go public with the report. That was unnecessary and could be harmful. Stopping these shameful practices - and maybe disciplining the people involved - didn't require this type of public disclosure.

Like his politics or not, McCain is obviously our resident expert on torture. In this area, I respect him and listen to his words whole-heartedly.

Yes, no doubt about it. Although the "Senate Committee Report looks more and more like political posturing.
