Another terrible trajedy in America yesterday, where the lack of respect for human life was fully on display. The further our society gets away from understanding the exceptionalism of human life and respecting it in all its stages and forms, the more people will ultimately have no problem turning to murder. The murderer killed innocent people because he felt they were a problem and in the way. I see our society as a whole defending taking innocent life for the same reasons through abortion and assisted suicide. I pray for this to turn around. Security guards and officers stationed at places of worship will have to become normal until our society's values change.

The death penalty must be kept in place, especially because of heinous crimes like this.
