Alas, to the contrary, Maria, this sort of savage libel is very effective - vide Bork. And Kavanaugh has got the message: if he votes to overturn Roe, these attacks will continue - as they have with Thomas - until he dies, & beyond. If he upholds it, the attacks will cease, to be replaced by a 'strange new respect.'
