UPDATE: Bill Donohue of the Catholic League disagrees with me that Larry King was a softball interviewer. He would know much better than I since he was interviewed many times by King and knew him well. And I hardly ever watched Larry King.
Pretty famous CNN host - his show ran 25 years. 87 years old and had COVID. I don't think I watched his show more than a handful of times. Well known for his T ball questions - "President Clinton... how's your family?" "President Bush, how is your new boat?" Also famous for being married seven (or was it eight?) times.
While a cause of death was not given, King was hospitalized with the virus in late December. He had faced a number of health issues over the years, including prostate cancer, type-two diabetes, multiple heart attacks, a lung cancer diagnosis, and a stroke.
