First ever in any election at any level; all my candidates won! The local school board election ...

I think I've only voted once in the past in a school board election - my kids didn't go to Croton schools (the Croton school district has a deserved great reputation) so no dog in the hunt. But for a couple of reasons I did vote in this one, this past Tuesday. In many state and national elections I don't vote for a major party candidate so very often have no chance to win. (just figured this out - in Presidential elections I'm batting .500 - six wins and six losses.) I have only voted once for a major party candidate for NY governor.

I'm pleased Ana Teague, Mary Obermeier and Omar Mayyasi won.
