UPDATE: Major bummer - they took the video down - will try and find it...and re-upload.
Having lived four years in the Caribbean where cricket is a major sport I know a fair bit about the game.* A cricket ball is slightly smaller, slightly heavier and slightly harder than a baseball. But with the exception of the wicket keeper (equivalent to the catcher in baseball) no one wears a glove. This match is New Zealand v. Pakistan with the Pakistani's batting.
*In 1979 I was at the second day of a "test" match between Australia and the West Indies, in Kingston Jamaica. The second day? Yes test matches are six days long including one of the days as a rest (no playing) day. On the last day Australia was about to win the match, when the Jamaican fans rioted, tear gas was fired, and the match was abandoned with no result.
Did you make yourself a watermelon hat? Or is that something only Aussies like to wear during a cricket test down here..
