So this was a late morning roundabout, just over two mile walk. Brigid is looking to build back up to five miles. Croton people will recognize where we were. The first three pictures are all taken from the elevated area, west of where the model airplanes are flown. The first and third ones looking north up the Hudson. The elvevation is at least 90-100 feet above the river - the photos are a little deceptive.
Then down to the beach area and the tree where the red tail hawks have had a nest for several years. You can see the nest as I zoom in - but no sign of birds.
With no leaves on the other trees, this is a better view of the nest than at other times of the year.
The young (at heart) couple...
You both were bundled up nicely. We may venture out to look for that nest. You inspired us to do so. Thanks🍾🙏❤️🎉

Regina now is the time to do it - you can clearly see it. Brigid tells me that red tail hawks do return around January? I don't know.
