Can't believe I haven't posted about this one. As I read awhile ago, this is a favorite of "grumpy old men." So I like it. Also a favorite of the 60's version of the Rat Pack. The Rusty Nail is made a bit of a comeback since I started drinking it in the last ten years. It is sooo easy to make. Vary the scotch whiskey and drambuie to taste - classically it's 2:1 ratio. If you use bourbon rather than whiskey I think it's called The Spike.
Anders has an amusing story at the end of this video.
I love the idea of all these fruity and summer-themed drinks. Except
for all the data now on the role that alcohol plays in the early onset of dementia. Folks, I want to keep my marbles as long as I can so I will forgo the drinks since it’s too much of a price to pay. Maybe a glass of my favorite German Riesling once in a while, but not often.

Regina most of us are past the point of worrying about "early onset" of dementia. More like concern for late onset of dementia.
