Val Kilmer

Ugh. Only 65. he was treated for throat cancer in 2014; his daughter said he died of pneumonia.

I thought he was a great and versatile actor with many film credits, like both Top Gun movies. Here are two scenes from the 1993 movie Tombstone (if you like westerns, doesn't get much better than this one) with him playing Doc Holliday.

As he meets Johnny Ringo.

Tombstone was my favorite movie with him. Batman and Williow were also very good. I’m sad he died and so young. He was a very good actor and cool guy.
